Mountain erupts,Mount Lokon erupted Almost Every Hour-Mount Lokon in Tomohon, North Sulawesi, again showing increased activity. Center for Volcanology and Geological Hazard Mitigation (PVMBG) noted,the mountain that has been determined that the standby status erupted six times during one day,July 9,2011.
"There was an eruption almost once every hour. At 16:45, 16:52,17:20, 19:46,19:58 and 20:48 AM. Higher maximum smoke 300 meters," said Chief PVMBG,Dr. Surono

Mount Lokon

Based on the observation PVMBG from 12:00 to 18:00 pm PST, an earthquake has occurred twice and three times the shallow volcanic earthquakes long periods. Earlier,Mount Soputan is also located in North Sulawesi also showed increased activity.Mountain,located in the Southeast Minahasa had erupted on Sunday, July 3,2011.

10.Gunung Karangetan in North Sulawesi
